Truly a classic!! My brother, cousin and I used to ROFL watching those kids rock it out to Schroeder's tunes on the piano!!! (I know EVERY dance- Do you?) It's not Christmas until my mother hears Linus respond to Charlie Brown's plea "Isn't there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?"
Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special- airs on ABC Sunday December 13th at 10pm EST
Definitely won't be missing The Obama's first Christmas at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Alvin Ailey- at New York City Center thru January 3, 2010.

The Nutcracker- Anywhere USA. My mother and I take the children annually. This year we're headed back to the Westchester County Center to see their rendition the weekend of 12/18-12/20

We used to love attending this event annually with our Brooklyn neighbors!! What a lovely way to usher in the holidays!

Ice Skating- Anywhere USA- Just found out yesterday that my husband has NEVER ice skated in his life!! We've never been able to bare the cold at Rockefeller Center, but Bryant Park or your local ice skating rink will certainly do the trick.
A Visit to the tree and the herald angels at Rockefeller Center- definitely a NYC must see
